Improving Safety & Reliability for the Aviation Industry

As we head into the final quarter of 2024, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on a few of our accomplishments this year. In our dedication to innovation and providing our customers with the best-in-class solutions to support their operations, we have added several new features to the AlarisPro platform including:

  • Integrated Documents Library
  • Automated Notifications
  • Enhanced Manufacturer Portal
  • Updates to the time display
  • Inventory Reports
  • Skydio Integration
  • LAANC Integration with Airspace Link through the AirHub Portal

We welcomed several new customers this quarter to our roster of influential partners in the unmanned industry including Aerial Robotix, Skyports, Duke Energy, and Pickett and Associates. We also have several new clients to announce below.

AlarisPro has been growing internally as well. We added new members to our team earlier this year and they have all proven to be incredibly valuable assets. We are proud to say that we have several employees who will be celebrating 5 years of service with AlarisPro! While 5 years with any company is something to boast about, we believe that 5 years of dedication to a tech start-up is even more impressive.

Over the last decade, the unmanned industry has experienced remarkable growth across all sectors (consumer, commercial, military, etc.) and there have been many companies that have come and gone. It has taken an incredible team of highly driven and innovative individuals to keep AlarisPro positioned as an industry leader. Our small team has created a lasting foundation for our business. Resourceful, ready to solve problems, trustworthy, excellent communicators, critical thinkers, flexible and full of grit, these 3 employees have helped shape AlarisPro into what it is today. We can’t thank them enough for all they do and we are excited about where this team is taking AlarisPro in the coming year!

Congratulations to our employees with five dedicated years of server to AlarisPro:

Donald Ferguson - Vice President, Development

Donna Kuang - Software Developer

Alexandra Harrison - Software Developer

This past year was our first time exhibiting at the Energy & Drone Robotics Summit in Houston, Texas and it was a tremendous success. We had very productive conversations with several organizations and made many new connections. Our team spent quite a bit of time discussing how AlarisPro supports BVLOS as well.

Our Founder and CEO, Tony Pucciarella, was also in attendance at the CUAV Expo just a few weeks ago in Las Vegas, NV and reported a lot of excitement about AlarisPro and the comprehensive suite of solutions that our platform offers.

We’re already booked and looking forward to two tradeshows in 2025! These events are always a fantastic way to stay current on industry trends and connect with other industry professionals.

Mark your calendars for:

As we approach 2025, we plan to keep advancing the possibilities for fleet management.

The FAA is close to releasing the draft rule for BVLOS. One of our top priorities at AlarisPro is supporting Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations and the pending FAA regulation which is an essential and recurring hot topic. AlarisPro has been planning this for years and is uniquely positioned to support BVLOS operations as well as compliance. We will be releasing a point paper soon that details our unique ability to support these essential requirements. Below are a few AlarisPro features that will be highlighted in the paper:

  • Comprehensive Fleet Management based on piloted aviation metrics
  • AlarisPro is the only UAS platform that provides component-level visibility and metrics
  • Safety Management System (SMS) tools that can be customized to your needs including a Flight Risk Assessment Tool (FRAT)
  • Documents Library with the ability to assign and track documents for reading

AlarisPro customers are always driving our ideas, improvements, and implementations. With innovation, transparency, quality, expertise, safety, and community as our core values, AlarisPro is working to ensure our customers and partners know without a doubt that we always have their best interest in mind.

The AlarisPro Fleet Management platform includes over 20 detailed aviation-grade operational reports to help run a safe and efficient program.

Examples include:

  • Reports on pilots, aircraft, and the organization
  • Real-time updates to tables and graphs
  • Project reports and schedules
  • Aircraft availability tracking
  • Component times and estimated replacement
  • Dates based on “ops tempo” or the system
  • Custom reporting
  • Maintenance labor reporting

All reports that are presented in table form can be downloaded in a CSV format. Recently, we began adding the ability to download some of the reports in a PDF format with your logo at the top of the page. In addition to the reports page, users also have the option to receive weekly (and/or daily) operational summaries via email. These email reports are sent automatically at the respective interval.

Unmanned Systems Technology recently sat down for an exclusive interview with AlarisPro customer, the US Forest Service. Dirk Giles, National UAS Program Manager for USFS, gave an insightful look into how the agency is leveraging UAS technology to enhance forestry management capabilities whilst prioritizing safety, efficiency, and human expertise. AlarisPro is proud of the work the USFS is doing and we are honored to have been mentioned in this story!

"From a software and system perspective we found a one stop shop for the aircraft and the pilot within AlarisPro. We did not want to have a separate tracking tool for every programmatic aspect and we sought out a single source to manage the fleet, maintenance, and pilot. We are very proud supporters of AlarisPro and as we are onboarding our national and regional Avionics Inspectors the utility of this tool has far-reaching impacts...... The pilot and fleet management aspects of AlarisPro have propelled the agency forward to meet and adhere to our policies as well as ensuring that we are providing the best products to our field-based collateral duty pilots. We can now track trends in real time which is a beyond powerful tool"

AlarisPro customers are always at the forefront of our minds, driving our ideas, improvements, and implementations. A few months ago, we surveyed our customers on potential integration tools they would like to see incorporated in the AlarisPro platform. Our team is planning to incorporate the feedback we received into our road map for potential future integrations. Below is a summary of our results:

When asked what they would rank as the #1 category for future AlarisPro integration, responses included:

  • Flight Management
  • Maps and Mission Planning
  • Project Management
  • Aircraft Manufacturer

When asked to rank their top 3 specific tools for future AlarisPro integration, responses varied but specific product integration requests included:

  • ESRI maps
  • Freefly
  • Mission Planner
  • OneSky UTM
  • Airspace Link
  • DroneDeploy
  • Wingtra
  • DroneTag
  • DJI
